Undeniably 2018 was an amazing year for book releases. But surprisingly, 2019 is shaping up to an even better year for books!
There are so many exciting books coming out this year! My heart says “BuY tHeM aLl!!!” but my bank account says, “Gods no. Show some restraint woman, don’t you want to buy food???”
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at That Artsy Reader Girl, in which bloggers and readers alike can scream together about books but in different topics each week!
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is: “Most Anticipated Releases for the first half of 2019!”
If you have stumbled upon this post and your TBR grows because of it…. then it’s merely coincidence….
Our poor TBRs are going to suffer more anyway because we, as readers, are questionable. Are we humans who reaaaaaally like books or are we dragons in human suits who are growing their hoard so that they can nest in books??
We’ll never know.
ANYWHOOOOOO! Let’s fly face first into the list!! Here are my most anticipate releases for the upcoming months, January – June.
All covers link back to Goodreads so you guys can check them out too! As always, any sequels are linked back to the first book in a series to avoid spoilers. 🙂

What are your most anticipated book releases for the first half of 2019?? Throw them at me! Wound my TBR as I have wounded yours! Are you looking forward to any of the books I have attacked you with?? Let me know!
Feel free to link your TTT posts, I’ll come visit and screech a bit!

Okay, based on covers alone I NEED to read all of these books this year!! I know that’s not the best way to pick reads but … seriously. Sorcery of Thorns is especially stunning. Green is my favorite color but I don’t have a ton of green books, so I’ll definitely have to pick of Sorcery of Thorns and The Gilded Wolves. I think I’m most excited for You Must Not Miss because I will read everything and anything Katrina Leno writes. Yay for 2019 releases! *throws confetti and unicorns and magic*

RiGHt??!?!? All the upcoming releases have such gorgeous covers!! I swear book cover art/design has really stepped up its game this year!! *grumbles something about it all being a ploy to empty my wallet*
I just looked at my shelves and realised there is an absurd lack of green here too… this must be a cRIME?!?!?!? Green books are so beautiful! Give me all the enchanted forest book covers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAAAAAAAAAA! I REALLY NEED TO PICK UP A KATRINA LENO BOOK! *whispers to self about bringing family shame*
GINORMOUS YAY FOR 2019 RELEASES!!! MAY THEY BE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THEY ARE HEARTBREAKING!!! *clouds begin pouring confetti instead of rain*

I don’t know why there aren’t a lot of green books??? My shelf lacks orange, yellow, and green books but has a lot of the other colors at the start and end of the rainbow. I don’t know why! But you’re right, I think all the covers I’ve seen so far have been top notch!!! BRING IT ON 2019

Warrior of the Wild looks awesome. And I’m hoping to try Jenn Bennett soon- this one and Starry eyes have both caught my eye!

I only discovered Warrior of the Wild yesterday and all I read about it was that it was Viking inspired and I was sold immediately!
I have read 2 Jenn Bennett books and both were amazing! I highly recommend them! Her contemporaries are definitely in the top 10 list of my fave contemporary books!
Happy Reading! ❤

Me too! It looks so soft and precious but it also looks suspiciously like a stabby book in disguise…
The Biggest of Congratulations to PaperFury, and a truck load of celebratory cake too!
Happy Reading! ❤
