Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Today’s prompt is Red, White and Blue coloured books (to celebrate the 4th of July in America) or books the colour of your country’s’ flag.
Seeing as I am from the UK the colour are still Red, White and Blue. BUT!!!!!!
I grew up in and am currently living in Wales soooooooo. I’m gonna do both flags for this prompt. Because why the heck not :3
British Flag (Union Jack)
Click on the covers to go to their goodreads page :3
Welsh Flag (Y Ddraig Goch; The Red Dragon)

NOTE: The Inquisition link is to the first book The Novice, because I accidentally read the beginning of the synopsis for book #2 while I was getting the picture and there are spoilers and I haven’t started this series yet ; _ ;
Happy 4th of July to America! :3
I hope you all have a wonderful day! I also wish you the best reading month (I know most have summer holidays now because schools finished for the term)!
Feel free to link your TTT, I’ll pop by and say hello!
I need to pick up The Edge of Everything – it sounds so good. I have no idea why I’ve put it off for so long. 🙂

Those are beautiful covers. And so many good books too! I just read Strange the Dreamer and Ever the Hunted recently, and I’m on the waiting list for Tower of Dawn and Red Queen at my library.

I’m starting to think that book covers are designed by people from the stars of something…. it’s probably magic….. I’ve been meaning to pick up Strange the Dreamer… but I think I want to read the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series first…. I don’t know why…. I know the two are completely unrelated but that’s how my mind is looking at it XD

It’s a good flag. The kind of flag you want to hug for just existing. :3

As a fellow non-American, I did my country’s flag this week – red and white! Hmm, guess it would work for England, too!

If we didn’t specify what county we are from people would have to guess based on the colours XD
I was thinking the other day that a lot of countries (although they have different flags) they have the same colours. (Like America and the UK, Germany and Belgium)
Wouldn’t it be fun if every country just kinda had one colour??? Like certain shades of blue for countries near the sea and stuff.
Idk, I think I need to sleep XD

The only book I’ve read was Red Queen. I’ve never seen the cover of Ruby Red but that is such a gorgeous cover.
Have a wonderful week!

Ruby Reds’ covers are all incredibly attractive??? I love them because they look kind of old-timey and the books are about time-travel *clutches heart* too good!
Thank You! I wish you a fantastic week too! :3

That it is. We should just put dragons on everything….
*gasp* The Edge of Everything actually has new covers and they are actually really pretty. There are two books out (I think it’s a duology???) book 1 is blue and book 2 is purple but like…. with smoke effects…..

I’m also UK, so I did Red, White and Blue for the Union Jack as well. I didn’t bother with the English flag, since it’s just Red and White all over again! You have some really lovely covers here, I particularly love the Ruby Red one, I’ve never seen that one before!

The Ruby Red covers are all beautiful. I only own the paperbacks for the series which is different to this one (the cover here is the Hardcover edition) because the hardcovers were ridiculously expensive! :3
